Decahydronaphthalene is used as pharmaceutical intermediates,reagent. Decahydronaphthalene, mixture of cis + trans has been used as a liquid phase to study the reaction rate of hydrogenation of cyclohexene in the presence of a Pd–Al/biomorphic carbon catalyst.
